
Kenneth Rexroth, poet, essayist, and immense influence on Bay Area poetry and literature, taught art history at SFAI from 1962 to 1965. Rexroth’s faculty “Biography Questionaire ([sic]--but the accepted SFAI spelling)” lists college degree: “none, none;” “Major Exhibitions: none, I don’t believe in them,” “2 Guggenheims,” “16 books, innumerable periodicals...I can’t remember all this stuff--why not look in Who’s Who.”
