SPEAKING OF ART SCHOOL...

Hosted by Thomas M. Houston

"Speaking of art school....impressions, stories and remembrances as told by alumni and faculty of the San Francisco Art Institute".

This series is about perpetuating the culture and legacy of the San Francisco Art Institute through recorded interviews. I feel that the is a rich history inside anyone that ever attended or taught at SFAI.

This series is open to any SFAI alums and/or faculty to participate in. Indeed these are turbulent times at SFAI however this series is about YOU, how you came to be a

student at SFAI, your experiences there and how that helped to shape your life.

FROM VENICE TO SFAI

Thomas M. Houston featuring Ruth Chase

“The interview is about getting into the San Francisco Art Institute, how SFAI was a drug rehab for me, getting through being a college student with minimal reading and writing skills, experiences with a few of my professors like Carlos Villa, and Angela Davis in the late '80s, and working through a pandemic. ”
